Disruptive/aggressive dogs
If the instructor determines that a dog is inappropriate for a group class, they reserve the right to remove the dog and handler from the program. Class fees will be applied as a credit towards private lessons to address the fear/agression issues causing the disruptive behavior.

Disruptive behaviors include, but are not limited to: excessive barking, lunging, attempts to bite other dogs or people, etc.

Disruptive handlers/people
If the instructor determines a handler is disruptive or inappropriate for group classes, they reserve the right to remove the handler from the program. No fees will be credited.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is it safe to bring my puppy to classes after only one vaccination?
A: As stated by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, yes it is okay for puppies to come to class with only one vaccination. Socialization should start at 9-10 weeks of age or earlier. Puppies do need to have one set of shots at least 7 days prior to their first class. If you want to read more, click here.
Q: Is a 6 week class enough to ensure a well trained dog?
A: We offer this Basic class as a starting point. This class provides you with the basics for a well mannered dog at home, or the basics to go on to any other class you choose. We do suggest continuing on with training.
Q: Is it okay to repeat a class I have already taken?
A: Yes it is okay to repeat a class, as all dogs progress at different speeds, especially puppies versus older dogs.
